Sushi chef

Kazoku Restaurant is situated in Winnipeg, MB and is hiring a Sushi chef to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
• The candidate must supervise cooks and other kitchen staff.
• The candidate must prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.
• The candidate must prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
• The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• The candidate must plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
• The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
• The candidate must maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be dependable.
