Heavy equipment operator

TerraPave Construction Corp is situated in Brampton, ON and is hiring a Heavy equipment operator to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate heavy equipment.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.
• The candidate must measure distance, volume, length, and weight.
• The candidate must complete onboard and other logs.
• The candidate must conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
• The candidate must prepare accident reports.
• The candidate must secure special attachments to equipment.
• The candidate must operate two-way radios and other communication equipment.
• The candidate must perform minor repairs to equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
