Job Description
- The candidate must advise clients on legal proceedings.
- The candidate must assemble documentary evidence in preparation for trial.
- The candidate must coordinate administrative services.
- The candidate must draft contracts, prepare promissory notes and draw up wills, mortgages and other legal documents.
- The candidate must interview clients, witnesses and related parties.
- The candidate must perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing systems.
- The candidate must prepare wills, real estate transaction documents, court reports and affidavits.
- The candidate must research records, court files and other legal documents.
- The candidate must schedule court trials.
- The candidate must assist lawyers in preparation for mediation and judicial dispute resolution.
- The candidate must collect and record administrative and service fees.
- The candidate must draft legal correspondence.
