Job Description

  • The candidate must install equipment.
  • The candidate must maintain equipment in proper working order.
  • The candidate must service equipment.
  • The candidate must test power equipment and systems.
  • The candidate must assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports.
  • The candidate must write specifications.
  • The candidate must calibrate electronic equipment and instruments.
  • The candidate must conduct safety training programs.
  • The candidate must collect and compile operational or experimental data.
  • The candidate must carry out applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics.
  • The candidate must set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
  • The candidate must complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must be fluent in English.
  • The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.

Work Setting

  • The candidate must work in an office.
  • The candidate must work from a remote location, performing their duties from a site other than the employer’s central office while maintaining productivity and communication.
  • The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
  • The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
