Civil engineering technologist

Steelcon Fabrication Inc. in Woodbridge, ON is inviting applications for the position of Civil engineering technologist. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Day, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must read blueprints to determine dimensions of structures or systems and material requirements.
• The candidate must assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings.
• The candidate must participate in field surveys, inspections, or technical investigations.
• The candidate must prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.
• The candidate must prepare engineering designs and drawings.
• The candidate must prepare project schedules.
• The candidate must supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations, and testing of construction materials.
• The candidate must provide consultation services to government bodies and other organizations.
• The candidate must plan programs for data acquisition, analysis, and mapping to assist in civil engineering projects.
