South Sherbrook Health Centre and Pharmacy ( Winnipeg, MB) is currently looking for a skilled Family physician. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call.

Job Description

• The candidate must collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals.
• The candidate must examine patients’ health conditions to identify diseases and injuries.
• The candidate must order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
• The candidate must consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health.
• The candidate must prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
• The candidate must inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases.
• The candidate must advise patients on health care.
• The candidate must coordinate or manage primary patient care.
• The candidate must provide acute care management.
• The candidate must provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
