Pointcare Health Services Inc. ( Etobicoke, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Personal support worker - home support. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Work schedule: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist clients in water (i.e., pool).
• The candidate must change non-sterile dressings.
• The candidate must collect specimens.
• The candidate must feed or assist in feeding.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate must be willing to walk for long periods of time.

Work Site Environment

• The work environment is smoke-free.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
