Lallemand Inc in Montréal, QC is seeking a self-motivated Buyer - purchasing. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Day, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services.
• The candidate must assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
• The candidate must develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
• The candidate must negotiate offers from suppliers.
• The candidate must consult with suppliers.
• The candidate must hire, train, and supervise staff.
• The candidate must review quotations.
• The candidate must determine contract terms and conditions.
• The candidate must award contracts to appropriate parties.
• The candidate must monitor progress of delivery schedules.
• The candidate must contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must perform internal audits.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be bilingual.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in manufacturing industry to operate machinery, assemble products, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• The candidate must work at an international level, collaborating across countries or regions, managing global operations, and ensuring compliance with international standards and practices.
