Job Description
- The candidate must interview inmates to assess adjustment problems.
- The candidate must prepare reports or case histories.
- The candidate must appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services.
- The candidate must assess offendersβ prospects for successful community reintegration.
- The candidate must develop specialized rehabilitation programs.
- The candidate must refer offenders to community and social services programs.
- The candidate must liaise with inmatesβ families and community contacts.
- The candidate must assess clientsβ relevant skill strengths and development needs.
- The candidate must conduct follow-up assessments.
- The candidate must evaluate offenders' progress.
- The candidate must develop, co-ordinate, and implement the delivery of specific services within the community.
- The candidate must resolve conflict situations.
- The candidate must supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses.
- The candidate must assist offenders in pre-release and release planning.
- The candidate must implement behaviour management programs.
- The candidate must conduct individual and group counselling sessions.
- The candidate must liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients.
- The candidate must maintain program statistics for evaluation and research purposes.
- The candidate must assist in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs.

Job Requirements
