Au Bullion in Brampton, ON is inviting applications for the position of Wholesale buyer. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must study market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials.
• The candidate must arrange products according to planogram.
• The candidate must establish and maintain contact with suppliers.
• The candidate must maintain adequate stock levels.
• The candidate must negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers.
• The candidate must oversee distribution of merchandise to outlets.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must review organizational requirements to determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
• The candidate must select and purchase merchandise for resale.
• The candidate must visit trade shows, showrooms, factories and product design events.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be analytical.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a wholesale store to manage inventory, support sales operations, and assist customers.
