STARRY ART & TECH STUDIO ( Halifax, NS) is currently looking for a skilled Business development officer. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Overtime required, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must develop policies.
• The candidate must administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.
• The candidate must perform administrative tasks.
• The candidate must plan development projects.
• The candidate must recruit and hire staff.
• The candidate must conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers.
• The candidate must conduct analytical marketing studies.
• The candidate must design market research questionnaires.
• The candidate must evaluate customer service and store environments.
• The candidate must conduct online marketing, e-commerce, and website promotions.
• The candidate must develop marketing strategies.
• The candidate must develop and implement business plans.
• The candidate must consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must be accurate.

• The candidate must be dependable.
