Specialist chef

Shagun Sweets and Restaurant ( Winnipeg, MB) is currently looking for a skilled Specialist chef. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Day, Evening, Weekend, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must instruct cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
• The candidate must prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.
• The candidate must prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
• The candidate must consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets, and specialty functions.
• The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
