L'École l'Eau-Vive in Québec, QC is seeking a self-motivated School custodian. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Term or contractFull time. Work schedule: Overtime required, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
• The candidate must empty trash cans and other waste containers.
• The candidate must wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
• The candidate must contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
• The candidate must perform safety and security checks.
• The candidate must supervise other workers.
• The candidate must move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• The candidate must clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
• The candidate must clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in an urban area with a high population density.
• The candidate must work in a religious organization.
• The applicant should be able to work in a school or educational institution/establishment comprising establishments that provide instruction and training in various subjects.
• The candidate must work in a church.
