Floor clerk - retail

Canac ( Québec, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Floor clerk - retail. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must unpack products received by the store and count, weigh, or sort items.
• The candidate must maintain computerized stock inventory.
• The candidate must record incoming stock.
• The candidate must stock shelves and display areas.
• The candidate must keep stock clean and in order.
• The candidate must price items using stamps or stickers according to the price list.
• The candidate must operate an electric pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• The candidate must operate a forklift.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a hardware store that sells household hardware for home improvement.
