Now hiring: Room attendant at Best Western Fernie Plus Mountain Lodge in Fernie, BC. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day, Evening, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must dust furniture.
• The candidate must vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• The candidate must make beds and change sheets.
• The candidate must distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• The candidate must clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• The candidate must attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items.
• The candidate must pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must have the ability to work independently.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in a hotel, motel, or resort with additional sports and leisure facilities, set in a natural environment that attracts visitors beyond the accommodations.
