RN (registered nurse)

Northern Health Region in The Pas, MB is inviting applications for the position of RN (registered nurse). The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must address and document symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
• The candidate must assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions.
• The candidate must collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families.
• The candidate must conduct disease screening.
• The candidate must deliver health education programs.
• The candidate must deliver immunization programs.
• The candidate must dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• The candidate must operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment.
• The candidate must provide nursing care.
• The candidate must supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff.
