Canco 719/One Stop in Lucan, ON is seeking a self-motivated Retail store supervisor. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must supervise staff, including apprentices, stagehands, and design teams.
• The candidate must assign duties to sales workers.
• The candidate must hire and train staff or arrange for their training as required.
• The candidate must authorize payments via cheque.
• The candidate must order merchandise.
• The candidate must authorize the return of merchandise.
• The candidate must establish work schedules.
• The candidate must sell merchandise to customers.
• The candidate must prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
• The candidate must resolve issues that arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of workers.
• The candidate must manage cash.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a retail service establishment.
• The candidate should work in a retail business, purchasing goods from manufacturers or wholesalers, and selling these goods to consumers in small quantities.
