General labourer - farm

Panorama Packing LTD ( Oliver, BC) is currently looking for a skilled General labourer - farm. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
• The candidate must cut agricultural crops.
• The candidate must pack fruits and vegetables.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must shear and shape trees and plants with a knife.
• The candidate must tie and secure plants.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must uphold values and ethics.

Work Site Environment
