Vanessa and Matt in Nepean, ON is inviting applications for the position of Home child care provider. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Term or contractFull time opportunity. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Flexible hours. This position has been approved by the LMIA.

Job Description

• The candidate must assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
• The candidate must instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• The candidate must keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
• The candidate must maintain a safe and healthy environment within the home.
• The candidate must organize activities such as games and outings for children.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must prepare infants and children for rest periods.
• The candidate must supervise and care for children.
• The candidate must attend to the emotional well-being of children.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work at the employer's home.
