Retail sales associate

Outer Limit Sports ( Charlottetown, PE) is currently looking for a skilled Retail sales associate. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payments.
• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems.
• The candidate must provide advice regarding merchandise to customers.
• The candidate must advertise and/or promote products, sales, or services.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must assist in the display of merchandise.
• The candidate must conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce.
• The candidate must estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
• The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.
• The candidate must maintain sales records for inventory control.
• The candidate must prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.
