Now hiring: Retail sales associate at Suzanne's & Jenny's in Courtenay, BC. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment - Part time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must provide advice regarding merchandise to customers.
• The candidate must advertise and/or promote products, sales, or services.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must assist in the display of merchandise.
• The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.
• The candidate must maintain sales records for inventory control.
• The candidate must prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.
• The candidate must sell merchandise to customers.
• The candidate must perform opening and closing activities.
• The candidate must conduct sales transactions.
• The candidate must set up displays of retail parts and accessories.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate must be energetic.
• The candidate must demonstrate integrity.

• The candidate must have strong time management skills.
