Cashier

Canadian Tire #350 ( Courtenay, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Cashier. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
• The candidate must scan items.
• The candidate must tabulate total payment for goods or services required.
• The candidate must receive payment for goods or services.
• The candidate must calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
• The candidate must perform suggestive selling.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must wrap or place merchandise in bags.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must participate in promotional activities.
• The candidate must verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
