North Island Dental is situated in Courtenay, BC and is hiring a Dental hygienist to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must instruct patients regarding oral hygiene.
• The candidate must clean and stimulate the gums to prevent gum disease.
• The candidate must apply fluoride treatment.
• The candidate must take, develop, and mount X-rays.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate should be willing to work for long hours in sitting positions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate must work in a dental practice to assist with patient care, support dental procedures, manage records, and ensure smooth daily operations.
