Restaurant manager

McDonalds in Powell River, BC is seeking a self-motivated Restaurant manager. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call.

Job Description

• The candidate must analyze budgets to increase and maintain restaurant profits.
• The candidate must develop budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen supplies, and cleaning supplies.
• The candidate must evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• The candidate must monitor revenues to determine labour costs.
• The candidate must monitor staff performance.
• The candidate must recruit staff.
• The candidate must set staff work schedules efficiently.
• The candidate must determine the types of services to be offered and implement appropriate operational procedures.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.
• The candidate must cost products and services.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate must participate in marketing plans and implementation.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Or equivalent experience.
