Job Description

The candidate must analyze budgets to increase and maintain restaurant profits.
The candidate must develop budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen supplies, and cleaning supplies.
The candidate must evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
The candidate must modify food preparation methods and menu prices to align with the restaurant budget.
The candidate must monitor revenues to determine labour costs.
The candidate must monitor staff performance.
The candidate must plan and organize daily operations effectively.
The candidate must recruit staff.
The candidate must set staff work schedules efficiently.
The candidate must supervise staff.
The candidate must determine the types of services to be offered and implement appropriate operational procedures.
The candidate must conduct performance reviews.
The candidate must enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
The candidate must negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
The candidate must negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
