Registered pharmacy technician

ZCan Pharmacy in Mississauga, ON is seeking a self-motivated Registered pharmacy technician. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate.
• The candidate must enter client information in databases.
• The candidate must prepare medications for clients.
• The candidate must assist with scheduling and workflow.
• The candidate must maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products.
• The candidate must process credit cards, vouchers, and other payments.
• The candidate must compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must have the ability to multitask.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in a pharmacy or drugstore.
