Job Description
- The candidate must administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain, and lower grade mobilizations.
- The candidate must apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body.
- The candidate must assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests and propose treatment plans.
- The candidate must explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients.
- The candidate must maintain records of treatments given.
- The candidate must massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body.
- The candidate must suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must be fluent in English.
- The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
