Healing Sense Clinic is situated in Burnaby, BC and is hiring a Registered physiotherapist to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Term or contractPart time leading to full time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer evaluative tests.
• The candidate must assess patients’ physical abilities.
• The candidate must examine patients.
• The candidate must make decisions on tests and procedures.
• The candidate must select appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations.
• The candidate must maintain clinical and progress reports.
• The candidate must confer with other health professionals.
• The candidate must teach and/or supervise exercises to patients.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must possess a master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be interpersonally aware.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.

Work Setting

• The candidate should practice manipulative therapy and apply gentle pressure to manipulate the muscles, soft tissues and joints.
• The candidate must work in a private practice.
