Refrigeration mechanic

KL Mechanical Ltd. in Courtenay, BC is inviting applications for the position of Refrigeration mechanic. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment.

Job Description

• The candidate must install and overhaul heating systems.
• The candidate must install refrigeration systems.
• The candidate must install ventilation, air handling, and air conditioning systems.
• The candidate must troubleshoot heating systems.
• The candidate must troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
• The candidate must assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must start up systems and test for leaks using testing devices.
• The candidate must perform maintenance such as recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, or calibrating systems.
• The candidate must interpret gas codes.
• The candidate must repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems.

• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
