Destination Think! Professional Services ( Revelstoke, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Managing director. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Day, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within the establishment.
• The candidate must manage finances and budgets.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.
• The candidate must assist in data analysis and report preparation.
• The candidate must recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
• The candidate must allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
• The candidate must review HR projects to assure compliance with laws and regulations.
• The candidate must manage balance sheets and profit and loss statements.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• Completion of a program in Tourism and Travel Services Management is required.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must uphold values and ethics.
• The candidate must demonstrate leadership.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in sales to promote products or services, engage with customers, achieve targets, and support overall business growth.
• The candidate must work in management to oversee operations, coordinate teams, implement policies, and ensure organizational objectives are achieved.
• The candidate must work in financial management or services to oversee financial operations, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulations.
