Production supervisor - machine shop

ACCUTEC STEEL RULE DIE & CUTTING INC. in Concord, ON is inviting applications for the position of Production supervisor - machine shop. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must prepare production and other reports.
• The candidate must recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
• The candidate must train or arrange for training of staff.
• The candidate must coordinate and schedule activities effectively.
• The candidate must oversee company operations.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must supervise workers and oversee projects.
• The candidate must use computer numerical control (CNC) machines.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
