Accounting technician

Ashish Tekriwal, CPA Professional Corporation ( Concord, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Accounting technician. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Flexible hours, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must calculate fixed assets and depreciation accurately.
• The candidate must keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• The candidate must maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
• The candidate must post journal entries.
• The candidate must prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
• The candidate must prepare tax returns.
• The candidate must prepare trial balances of books.
• The candidate must reconcile accounts.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
