Access Better Living Inc. in Cochrane, ON is seeking a self-motivated Personal support worker - home support. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment - Part time position. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, On call.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer bedside and personal care to clients.
• The candidate must assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Additional Information

Security and Safety

• The candidate must provide valid reference information.
• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
• The candidate must be able to complete a medical exam.
• The candidate must be able to pass a vulnerable sector check.

Transportation/travel information

• The candidate must have their own vehicle.
• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.

Benefits
