Access Better Living Inc. ( Timmins, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Personal support worker - home support. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment - Part time employment. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, On call.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer bedside and personal care to clients.
• The candidate must assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must shop for food and household supplies.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Additional Information

Transportation/travel information

• The candidate must have their own vehicle.
• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.

Benefits

• The candidate shall receive benefits in line with the collective agreement contract between the employer and the union representing a bargaining unit.
• The candidate will receive mileage reimbursement.
