Nursery worker

Brookdale Treeland Nurseries Ltd. in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON is seeking a self-motivated Nursery worker. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Seasonal employment or Full time. Work schedule: Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must perform budding of trees.
• The candidate must clean crops effectively.
• The candidate must perform greenhouse cleaning.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants.
• The candidate must pot and re-pot plants.
• The candidate must clean work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
