Home support worker

Rithy Lav is situated in Brampton, ON and is hiring a Home support worker to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer medications as prescribed.
• The candidate must assist clients in water (i.e., pool).
• The candidate must assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• The candidate must assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
• The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must mend clothing and linens.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must plan therapeutic diets and menus.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must cook meals as required.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must have patience.

Work Site Environment

• The work environment is smoke-free.

Work Setting
