Job Description

  • The candidate must follow the parents’ guidance regarding toilet training.
  • The candidate must assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
  • The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • The candidate must shop for food and household supplies.
  • The candidate must travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • The candidate must wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
  • The candidate must care for pets.
  • The candidate must bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
  • The candidate must discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
  • The candidate must instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • The candidate must keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
  • The candidate must maintain a safe and healthy environment within the home.
  • The candidate must organize activities such as games and outings for children.
  • The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
  • The candidate must prepare infants and children for rest periods.
