Metal casting finisher

Wabi Iron & Steel Corp. ( New Liskeard, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Metal casting finisher. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Work schedule: Day, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from surfaces of metal products.
• The candidate must grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.
• The candidate must read and interpret work orders.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a metal products manufacturing company to fabricate, assemble, and inspect metal products while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained.
