EZ Workforce INC is situated in Winnipeg, MB and is hiring a Maintenance mechanic, industrial plant to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call.

Job Description

• The candidate must assemble mechanical equipment.
• The candidate must assemble stationary industrial machinery.
• The candidate must detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must repair or replace defective machinery parts.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• The candidate must operate machining tools to fabricate parts.
• The candidate must program programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• The candidate must install machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• The candidate must commission systems and components.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be involved in the maintenance, repair, and maintenance of machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings.
• The candidate must focus on repair work, restoring damaged, deteriorated, or broken items to good condition.
• The candidate should work on an overhaul to renovate thoroughly, making significant changes to repair.
• The candidate should work on machine set-up, the time required to prepare a machine for its next run after producing the last part of the previous run.
• The candidate should work in a shop work interactive meeting where a group goes through a series of activities to solve a problem or work on a project.
