Machinist

GL Machine Shop Inc ( Saint-François de Madawaska, NB) is currently looking for a skilled Machinist. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
• The candidate must repair machine tools and parts.
• The candidate must fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
• The candidate must verify dimensions of machined parts using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
