Job Description
- The candidate must administer medications as prescribed.
- The candidate must apply aseptic techniques including sterile dressing.
- The candidate must conduct specimen collection in accordance with protocols.
- The candidate must ensure infection control.
- The candidate must observe and record medicationβs therapeutic and side effects.
- The candidate must record observations of medication therapeutic effects and side effects in patient files.
- The candidate must take vital signs.
- The candidate must monitor established respiratory and intravenous therapy treatments.
- The candidate must provide safety and health education to individuals and their families.
- The candidate must provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
- The candidate must monitor patientsβ progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team.
