Licensed practical nurse (L.P.N.)

Naz's Pharmacy #1 ( Surrey, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Licensed practical nurse (L.P.N.). The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer medications as prescribed.
• The candidate must ensure infection control.
• The candidate must take vital signs.
• The candidate must provide safety and health education to individuals and their families.
• The candidate must provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be bilingual.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate should work in public or community health centre providers may work in medical clinics, community health centres and allied health practices, such as physiotherapy and podiatry practices.
• The candidate should work in a private residence, office, or work area only open to the public in the ordinary course of business if by individual invitation.

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
• The candidate must have their own vehicle.
