The Gardens at Qualicum Beach is situated in Qualicum Beach, BC and is hiring a Registered nurse (R.N.) to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must address and document symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
• The candidate must assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions.
• The candidate must collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families.
• The candidate must dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• The candidate must operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment.
• The candidate must provide nursing care.
• The candidate must supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a nursing home/home for the aged or people who don't need to be in a hospital but can't be cared for at home.

Additional Information

Security and Safety

• The candidate must undergo a criminal record check.
• The candidate must provide up-to-date immunization records.
• The candidate must be able to pass a tuberculosis test.
