Tina Cake Desserts in Vancouver, BC is inviting applications for the position of Kitchen helper. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, To be determined, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
• The candidate must place dishes in storage areas.
• The candidate must replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
• The candidate must sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• The candidate must scour pots and pans.
• The candidate must stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must handle and store cleaning products.
• The candidate must receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• The candidate must remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• The candidate must sharpen kitchen knives.
• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be reliable.
