Promotions Universelles inc. is situated in Boucherville, QC and is hiring a Production chief to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must develop production schedules and duty assignments to ensure proper functioning.
• The candidate must evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• The candidate must maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages.
• The candidate must plan and organize daily operations effectively.
• The candidate must develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines.
• The candidate must direct quality control inspections.
• The candidate must hire, supervise, and train employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques.
• The candidate must plan and implement changes to machinery, equipment, production systems, and methods of work.
• The candidate must design tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must uphold values and ethics.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
