Kitchen helper

Indian Spice Cuisine Ltd. ( Squamish, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Kitchen helper. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
• The candidate must place dishes in storage areas.
• The candidate must sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• The candidate must keep records of the quantities of food used.
• The candidate must package take-out food.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• The candidate must stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must handle and store cleaning products.
• The candidate must remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
