Doug Tarry Homes is situated in St. Thomas, ON and is hiring a HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) technologist to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must install machinery.
• The candidate must carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in the employer’s or client’s home, be capable of working at varied site locations, and understand that performance progression is reviewed annually.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate must work in residential settings, performing tasks on one-, two-, and three-family dwellings.
