Vancouver Private household in Vancouver, BC is inviting applications for the position of Home child care provider. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Early morning, Evening, Weekend, , 07:00 to 19:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must change diapers as required.
• The candidate must follow the parents’ guidance regarding toilet training.
• The candidate must travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
• The candidate must instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• The candidate must keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
• The candidate must maintain a safe and healthy environment within the home.
• The candidate must organize activities such as games and outings for children.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must prepare infants and children for rest periods.
• The candidate must supervise and care for children.
• The candidate must be responsible for transporting children safely to and from school, as well as to scheduled appointments.
• The candidate must attend to the emotional well-being of children.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must have patience.
• The candidate must be honest.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work at the employer's home.
