Heating and cooling mechanic

Cohesive Mechanical Contracting Ltd. is situated in Chilliwack, BC and is hiring a Heating and cooling mechanic to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Early morning, Weekend, Overtime available, , 07:00 to 15:30.

Job Description

• The candidate must install ventilation, air handling, and air conditioning systems.
• The candidate must interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation.
• The candidate must measure and lay out reference points for installation.
• The candidate must read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
• The candidate must assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components.
• The candidate must measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment.
• The candidate must start up systems and test for leaks using testing devices.
• The candidate must repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
