Gas fitter

Mass Mechanical is situated in Etobicoke, ON and is hiring a Gas fitter to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must install gas heating units and their components.
• The candidate must measure and mark reference points for installation of gas lines and equipment.
• The candidate must install and maintain meters, regulators, and gas lines between gas units and gas meters.
• The candidate must repair and service gas appliances and related equipment.
• The candidate must test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices.
• The candidate must operate CADD and other computer software systems.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
